The Geneva Knee Centre was established in 2020 ; composed by two surgeons specialising in orthopaedics and traumatology. They mainly worked managing pathologies and traumas of the knee joint.

They decided to combine their knowledge and expertise to offer patients the best possible treatment, utilising internationally renowned advanced techniques. The duo is supported by a team of specialist nurses and physiotherapists.

Working closely with doctors in radiology and doctors in rehabilitation and sport, the centre allows for optimal care, from diagnosis to post-operative care for patients requiring surgery. Non-surgical treatments are also covered.

In addition to clinical work (patient care), the centre runs training and research. Results are continually evaluated to maintain standards of quality and excellence.

In recognition of their experience, Dr Philippe Alves (MD) and Dr Julien Billières (MD) are regularly invited to give courses and training to national and international surgeons.
